Independent Consulting Services

Independent consulting services are offered by Rev. Dr. Phaedra D. Blocker through a separate entity, supporting congregations and ministries in leadership and organizational development.
I partner with congregations, nonprofit organizations, and leadership teams to support growth, alignment, and transformation—both within individuals and across systems.
My work integrates spiritual formation, leadership development, and organizational consulting, helping leaders and organizations navigate complexity with greater clarity, resilience, and purpose.
Supporting organizations in clarifying direction, aligning mission and practice, and discerning next steps in seasons of transition or growth.
Working with clergy teams, staff, and boards to strengthen communication, deepen trust, and cultivate healthy, effective leadership dynamics.
Guiding leaders and organizations through periods of change, including shifts in leadership, structure, or direction, with attention to both practical and relational dynamics.
Helping leaders and teams engage processes of reflection and discernment that are both spiritually grounded and practically actionable.
Supporting organizations in identifying patterns, strengthening alignment, and cultivating practices that sustain both people and mission over time.
My consulting work is:
Integrative — bridging inner formation and organizational practice
Contextual — responsive to the unique culture and needs of each organization
Relational — attentive to the human dynamics that shape leadership and systems
Practical — grounded in actionable insight and sustainable change
I bring over two decades of experience in pastoral leadership, teaching, and consulting, along with training in theological and clinical contexts.
Engagements may take a variety of forms, including:
One-time consultations or planning sessions
Half-day or full-day leadership intensives
Multi-session team development processes
Ongoing consulting partnerships
Each engagement is designed in conversation with you, based on your context, goals, and capacity.
Consulting services are provided independently and are not programs of the Center for Clergy & Congregational Wellness. While the Center offers retreats and educational experiences, consulting engagements are contracted separately and do not financially benefit the Center.
If you are exploring consulting support for your organization or leadership team, I would welcome the opportunity to learn more about your context and what you are seeking.
