Restoring soul and spirit in the waiting season
Advent is a season of waiting, hope, and holy expectation. Yet for clergy, it often becomes one of the busiest and most demanding times of the year. Sermons, services, and pastoral care can leave little space for your own spiritual renewal.
Leading from Quiet is a contemplative Advent retreat designed specifically for clergy. It offers sacred time apart from the pressures of ministry to breathe, rest, and listen for the still, small voice of God. Together, we will step into silence, prayer, and reflection—making space to prepare not just our congregations, but also our own hearts, for the coming of Christ.
During this retreat, you will experience:
Guided Times of Prayer and Reflection to anchor you in God’s presence.
Contemplative Worship and Scripture rooted in the Advent story of waiting and hope.
Silence and Rest to restore your spirit and renew your inner strength.
Community with Fellow Clergy—safe space to share, rest, and be encouraged by others who understand the unique joys and burdens of ministry.
You’ll leave this retreat with renewed clarity, spiritual grounding, and fresh strength to carry you into the season of Christmas.
This retreat is open to clergy and ministry leaders of all denominations who long for rest, renewal, and space to listen for God’s presence in the season of Advent.
